SHELBY- James “Glenn” Jackson, 67, of Bridges St., died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, at his home. A native Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Howard and Catherine Hollifield Jackson. He loved his family and fishing.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Jackson Reeves; and brother, Farris “Butch” Jackson.


SURVIVED: He is survived by his son, David Jackson of Shelby; sister, Emma Jackson Cook and husband Calvin of Inman, SC; brother, Marvin Jackson of Shelby; and his grand-dog chihuahua, Petie Glenn Jackson.

SERVICES: Monday, 2PM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Monday, 12:30-2PM, at the funeral home
