SHELBY- Mrs. Glenda S. Langley, 60, of 1316 Barbee Road, died Monday, March 5, 2007 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Dyer County, Tenn., daughter to the late William “Bill” and Myrtle Duncan Lowe. She was a loving grandmother and a seamstress by trade.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Langley; and a sister, Nellie Smith.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by two sons, Robert Sheets of Shelby, and Todd Sheets and his wife Stephanie of Charlotte; a daughter, Hope Ballard and her husband Joel of Rock Hill, SC; four sisters, Dorothy Ashmore and her husband Sidney, Ruby Solomon and Georgie Williams, all of Tenn., and Joann Salas and her husband Jose of Indiana; three grandchildren, Garrett Ballard of Rock Hill and Haley and Brittany Sheets, both of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 7, 2007 from 6-7:30 pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: The funeral will be Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 11:00 am at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
