Gladys Willis

BOILING SPRINGS- Gladys Jeanette Willis, 74, of Boiling Springs, passed away Monday July 20, 2015 at Carolinas Healthcare System-Cleveland. A native of Gaston county, she was the daughter of the late Glavis “Shake” and Gladys Heavner Wacaster. She was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Horace “Spider” Willis; and one brother, Howard Wacaster.

SURVIVED: She is survived by one son, Bobby Willis and wife Harriet of Boiling Springs; one daughter, Lisa Willis Lowery and husband Allen of Mooresboro; one brother, Butch Wacaster and wife Shirley of Shelby; four grandchildren, Ashley Willis, Emily Willis, Billy Darnell, and Celeste Lowery; one great grandchild, Zoe Radford; and one sister-in-law, Linda Wacaster.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held, 1:30 pm, Wednesday at Flint Hill Baptist Church.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at the church

BURIAL: Interment will be at Cleveland Memorial Park
