Gladys Mcswain

SHELBY- Gladys L. McSwain, 91, died Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Atrium Health Care. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Alpha Hamrick Morrison. She worked more than 40 years in textiles, and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Blacksburg.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur ”Bill” McSwain; daughter, Kay McSwain; and son, Kenneth McSwain.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Sarratt; son, Keith McSwain and wife Mary; sister, Betty Trammel, all of Shelby; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES: A memorial service to celebrate the life of Gladys will be held 6pm, Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Rock Springs Baptist Church
