SHELBY- Miss Georgia Elizabeth Davis, 93, formerly of 630 Westover Terrace, died Friday, June 20, 2008 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. She was a native of Cleveland County, daughter to the late Clifton and Lola Lattimore Davis, and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Miss Davis dedicated a major portion of her adult life to caring for her parents. She also loved tending to her flowers.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents; two sisters, Mary Ruth Davis and Louise Davis McBrayer.
SURVIVORS: Two sisters, Thelma Marie Davis of Shelby and Alberta Davis Boswell and her husband Jack of Myrtle Beach, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL: Monday (6/23), 2:00 pm, at New Hope Baptist Church
VISITATION: at the church one hour prior to the service.
BURIAL: will follow in the church cemetery.
OFFICIATING CLERGY: Rev. Russ Bradley.
