BOONE- Mrs. Frances Bolton Wilson, 75, of 287 Bamboo Rd., formerly of Shelby, died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Deerfield Ridge Assisted Living Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Henry J. Bolton and Vernie Hamrick Bolton. She was a nurse for more than 20 years at Kings Mountain Hospital and then worked for twenty more years at Grandfield Manor.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, J.B. Bolton and Clinton “Clint” Bolton.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by her son, Tab Bridges and his wife, Jackie of Boone; the daughter, Debbie Bridges and her husband, Richard Dalessandro, of Cherryville; her brother, Don Bolton, and his wife, Melvin of Shelby; her granddaughter, Tabitha Sermersheim of Dallas, NC; and her grandson, Trevor Dalessandro of Bessemer City.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: A private family memorial service will be held at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
OFFICIATING CLERGY: The Rev. Walter Griggs will be officiating.
MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Rd., Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210.
