Flay Randall

SHELBY-Mr. Donald “Flay” Randall, 83, of 3617 Towery Rd., died Tues., Dec. 7, 2010 at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Samuel Marvin and Alda Sipe Randall. Flay retired as a truck driver from Concrete Supply in Charlotte. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.



PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Stephen Randall; and two brothers, Luke and Herman Randall.

SURVIVERS: He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Black Randall of the home; two sons, Samuel Flay Randall and Scott Wayne Randall, both of Shelby; six grandchildren, Stephanie Messer and husband Gary of Dallas, Shayna Randall of Charlotte, Wesley Randall of Waxhaw, Eric Randall of Shelby, Brandon Randall and Jessica Randall, both of Gastonia; and three great grandchildren, Taylor Cagle, Andrew Randall, and Heather Messer.


SERVICES: The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Beaver Dam Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service
