Faye Tessiner

June 11, 1949 — April 8, 2009

SHELBY- Mrs. Faye C. Tessiner, 59, of 2419 Windy Lane, died Wednesday, April 8., 2009 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Dublin, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Crabb and Nolia Birch Atkins. She retired from the textile industry and was of the Baptist faith.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Ledbetter.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband, James Tessiner of the home; five sons, John Register, and wife, Baerbel, of Carthage, Tommy Register and wife, Mary, of Apex, Gregg Register and wife, Kerry, of Charleston, SC, James Tessiner and wife, Nancie, of Casar, and Gene Tessiner of Michigan; four daughters, Carolyn Elwood and husband, Curtis, of Hickory, Teresa Borders and husband, Kenneth, of Shelby, Dessie Waldrop of Casar, and Annette Tessiner of Shelby; a sister, Kathleen Brack of Polkville; eighteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a special friend, Judy Crump of Shelby. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her daughters and caregivers Teresa Borders and Carolyn Elwood for all of their special care.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Friday, April 10, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.

FUNERAL: A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2009 at Sunset Cemetery.

BURIAL: Sunset Cemetery.
