Earleen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She first worked in the cafeteria at Bethware Elementary School and later spent many years in the textile industry before leaving the workforce to become a full-time caregiver for her mother. Earleen was known for her wonderful cooking and her love of bringing family together, creating lasting memories around her table.
She was a dedicated member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where she enjoyed her years teaching the 3-year-old class and later spending time with the ladies in her Sunday School class.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 64 years, John Camp; her three daughters, Lisa Crocker and husband Scott of Gastonia, NC, Jill McKinney and husband Mike of Pawleys Island, SC, and Amy Dulin of Kings Mountain, NC; her eight grandchildren, Katlin Parsley (Josh), Jonathan Crocker, Rylee Crocker, Miranda Richardson (John), Cassidy Caldwell, Joe McKinney, Jessica Dulin, and Bailey Dulin; and her three great-grandchildren, Lincoln Parsley, Addie Richardson, and Emma Richardson.
The family would also like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to her caregivers, Holly Goforth, Mallory Camp, the staff of KM Life Enrichment Center, and the nursing staff at Hospice of Cleveland County for their compassionate care and support.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Kings Mountain from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., followed by a celebration of life service in the sanctuary at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Steve Taylor and Rev. Wayne Brazzell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, KM Life Enrichment Center, or Hospice of Cleveland County.
Earleen will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
