SHELBY- Mrs. Donnis Jenson, 65, formerly of Shelby, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at her home in Indian Trail. A native of Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Harlon and Addie Mae Turner McSwain. She was a teacher with the Cleveland, Anson and Mecklenburg County school systems.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rudd Lee Jenson Jr. and a brother, Reid McSwain.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by a son, Lee Jenson and wife, Jennifer of Indian Trail; two grandchildren, Jake Jenson and Connor Jenson; and a cousin, Cheril Sisk and husband Steve of Shelby.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Private burial will be held in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
OFFICIATING CLERGY: Rev. Max Pendleton
