KINGS MOUNTAIN- Mr. Don Oliver, 77, passed away Wednesday December 4, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospice. A native of Cleveland County, he was born July 23, 1936, son of the late CR and Lilla Mae Tucker Oliver. He was a member of Penley’s Chapel in Kings Mountain where he served as an Elder of the church.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a large family.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife Geraldine Clary Oliver of the home; one sister, Peggy Jackson and husband Stoney; one brother, EB Oliver all of Kings Mountain.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Friday at Penley’s Chapel in Kings Mountain.
VISITATION: The family will receive friend after the service at the church and other times at his home.
CLERGY: Rev. Doug Allen will officiate
BURIAL: Burial will be private and at a later date.
MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to Penley’s Chapel PO Box 2023, 1508 N. Piedmont Ave. Kings Mountain, NC 28086
