Delia Champion

December 22, 1925 — February 10, 2015

SHELBY-Delia McCraw Champion, 89, died Tues., Feb. 10, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Vivian McCraw. She was a faithful and active member at New Hope Baptist Church before her declining health.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar G. Champion; sisters, Sue Stuard and Rozell Turner; brothers, James A McCraw and Wallace McCraw

SURVIVED: She is survived by her four sisters, Elaine Curtis and husband Gene of Mooresboro, Norma Harris and husband Al of Hampton, GA, Kathryn Champion and husband Buddy of Ocean Isle, NC, and Edith Gardner and husband Wayne of Gaffney; and many special nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 3p.m., Thursday, at New Hope Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church

BURIAL: New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery
