David Howell

CHERRYVILLE- Mr. David Hillard Howell, 67, of 3138 N. Clear Fork Rd., died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Ft. Sanders Sevierville Medical Center in Sevierville, Tenn. A native of Lincoln County, he was a son of the late David Hillard Howell and Hazel Leatherman Howell of Cherryville. He was a building contractor and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cherryville.

SURVIVORS: In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Dr. Anika Howell Hastings and husband, Kelly, of Cherryville; a sister, Helena Eaker and husband, Jack of Cherryville; a granddaughter, Sophia Hastings of Cherryville; a nephew, Jack David Eaker and wife, Becky, of Cherryville; a niece, Krista Gantt and husband, Doug, of Cherryville; and friend Naomi Golden of Sevierville, T.N..

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 12:45 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in Cherryville.

FUNERAL: The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the church.

BURIAL: Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Blowing Rock at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, March 29, 2008.
