Daniel Benfield

SHELBY-Daniel “Danny” Benfield, 50, died Thurs., May 14, 2015, at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of Pattie Stratton Benfield of Shelby, and the late James Cecil Benfield. He served in the Navy, and was a former employee of Clearwater Paper. He was of the Baptist faith.

SURVIVED: In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, David Benfield of Lumberton, TX, and John Benfield of Shelby; sister, Lisa Queen and husband Joey of Shelby; grandmother, Sue Stratton of Shelby; nephew, Aaron Queen; niece Anna Queen; and former wife, Nina Benfield of Lumberton, TX.
