KINGS MOUNTAIN- Clifford Lovelace, 76, passed away Saturday June 4, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family. A native of Cleveland county, he was the son of the late Barnett Glenn and Eva Mae McNeely Lovelace. He was owner and operator of a local Kings Mountain wrecker service for over 50 years, Lovelace Wrecker Service. He was a past member of Kings Mountain Rescue and Kings Mountain Fire Department as a volunteer.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Dewey and Bufford Lovelace.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his lovely wife of 53 years, Faye Dover Lovelace of the home; two daughters, Trina Lovelace Shull and Janet Lovelace Lucas and husband Dennis all of Kings Mountain; one sister, Sarah Juanita Runyans of Gastonia; one brother, Gene Lovelace and wife Judy of Kings Mountain; three grandchildren, Andrea “Andie” Medrano and husband Jeorge, Todd Jackson all of Kings Mountain, Tonya Wallace and husband Fred of Colorado Springs, CO.; six great grandchildren, Kyle, Nathan, and Zoey Jackson, Ruthie Wallace, Kaleb and Alyriana Medrano
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 4PM Wednesday at Temple Baptist Church
VISITATION: The family will receive friend Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.
CLERGY: Rev. Scott Carpenter, Rev. Greg Neely, and Rev. Gary Teague, II will officiate
INTERNMENT: Burial will be at Mountain Rest Cemetery
