Clarence Short

MOORESBORO: Clarence “Tommy” Short, 79, died Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Beacher and Venar Williams Short. He worked as a Brick Mason. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brittany Short. He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Simmons Short, of the home; daughter, Tamara Short; son, Jerry Short and wife Sandra; grandchildren, Jenny Short, Brandon Hutchins, Bryan Hutchins, and Candace Short; great-grandchildren, Madalie Short, Mason Hill, Vada Hutchins, Javy Hutchins, Maggie Hutchins, Jazmyn Moore, Nevaeh Moore and Asher Hutchins; and sister, Judy Freeman.
