Shelby: Cheryl Lea Hoyle, born on July 6, 1966, in Shelby County, Ohio, departed this life on June 4, 2025, in Cleveland County. At the age of 58, Cheryl leaves behind a legacy of love and determination that touched all who knew her.

A devoted homemaker, Cheryl dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing environment for her family. Her love for animals and children was evident in her compassionate nature and her generous spirit. Cheryl's days were often filled with the joys of caring for her loved ones and indulging in her favorite soap operas, which brought her much delight.

Known for her determined and headstrong personality, Cheryl faced life's challenges with resilience and strength. She was a guiding light to her family and friends, offering unwavering support and love.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Robert Thomas Alexander Sr.; her daughter, Brittany Joan Jones; and her brother, David Howard Williamson. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Joel R. Jones of Kings Mountain; her mother, Geraldine Lea Sage Lamb of Hendersonville, NC; and her son, Joel R. Jones (and fiance, Ashley) of Greenville, GA.

She is also survived by her brothers, Marion Buddy Alexander of Hendersonville, NC, and Kerry Lee Williamson of Kings Mountain, NC; her step-brother, Robert Alexander Jr., and step-sister, Julie Alexander of Point Pleasant, WV. Cheryl leaves behind six cherished grandchildren: Owen, Abigail, Joel, Evalynn, Vylotte, and Samuel, as well as ten nieces and nephews, and six great-nieces and nephews.

Cheryl will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the time they spent with her and the love she so freely gave.
