GASTONIA- Mr. Charles Wayne Owens, 55, of 2200 Williamsburg Dr., # 16, died Sunday, November 30, 2008 at home. A native of Cleveland County he was a son of Clifford Owens and Zula C. Owens of Mooresboro. He was employed by Gaston County as a computer analyst and served in the U.S. Army.
SURVIVORS: He is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Darnell and husband, Jonathan, of Boiling Springs; a sister, Gail Owens Ellis of Mooresboro; two brothers, Jerry Owens and wife, Rita, of Fallston and Randy Owens of Shelby; and many nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Lindsey and Jonathan Darnell, 108 Brookview Drive, Boiling Springs.
FUNERAL: A private family graveside service will be held at Cleveland Memorial Park.
