BOILING SPRINGS- Mr. Charles G. “Chuck” Parker Jr., 52, of 121 Victor Drive, Boiling Springs, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 23, 2006 at Magnolia Health Care in Asheville.
FUNERAL: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Sunset Cemetery
VISITATION: From 6:00 until 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and other times at the home.
PERSONAL HISTORY: Born in Cherokee County, SC to the late Charles “Charlie” Parker Sr. and Barbara Owens Parker of the home, he was employed in the textile industry. He served in the Army, with a tour in Germany and was of the Baptist faith.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: He was preceded in death by his father.
SURVIVORS: In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Pam Zinck and husband, Wally of Atlanta, Georgia and Melissa Jones and husband, Charlie of Shelby; two brothers, Rick Parker and wife, Anita of Denver, NC and Mark Parker and wife, Susan of Boiling Springs; many nieces, nephews and friends.
