SHELBY- Charles Alvin Harris, a cherished son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 6, 2026, in his birthplace of Cleveland County, North Carolina. Born on May 19, 1956, Charles lived a vibrant life of 70 years filled with love, laughter, and adventure.

A true enthusiast of classic cars, Charles found joy in attending car shows and could often be found admiring old cars and hotrods. His passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for hunting, fishing, and tending to his yard. Above all, Charles cherished his family, holding them close and sharing with them his zest for life.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Alvin and Betty Harris; his sister, Barbara Greene; and his grandparents, Worth and Udell Davis.

Charles leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold him in their hearts: Doris and Buddy Lee, Tim Williams, Scott Williams, Dale Davis, David Davis, Lisa Davis, Sherry Smith, Mike Davis, Betty Davis, Joy Davis, Tammy Lee, Lynn Lee, Charlie Greene, and his sister Betty Richardson along with her husband.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the memories of Charles's laughter and the happiness he shared with all who knew him. His spirit and passions will continue to inspire those who loved him dearly.
