Carolyn Benfield Beaver

SHELBY: Carolyn Benfield Beaver entered into her eternal rest on August 23, 2025, in Lincoln County, NC, at the age of 66. Born on February 15, 1959, in Cleveland County, NC, Carolyn lived a life filled with dedication and love.

She devoted over 30 years of her professional career to Gaston County as a Business Services Specialist, which was the most gratifying position she held during her time, where she retired in 2019. Her commitment to her work and her community was evident throughout her long and fruitful career.

Carolyn had a deep passion for the outdoors, finding joy in yardwork and tending to her beloved flowers. She cherished her time spent outside, surrounded by nature and her family. Her three dogs were a source of great happiness for her, and she cared for them deeply.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Scott Beaver, and her parents, Glenn Benfield and Ruby Benfield. Carolyn is survived by her loving daughter, Brandy Sipe, and husband, TJ.

Carolyn will be remembered for her warmth, dedication, and the love she shared with those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
