KINGS MOUNTAIN: Brittney Danielle Gaddy, affectionately known as Brittney, passed away on July 22, 2025, in Kings Mountain at the age of 37. Born on October 31, 1987, in Shelby, NC, she brought a unique sparkle and warmth into the world from the very beginning.

Brittney was a remarkable woman who possessed an infectious energy that could light up any room she entered. Her outgoing nature and vibrant personality made her someone who was always surrounded by love and laughter. Known for having the biggest heart, she was a beacon of positivity and compassion to everyone she encountered.

Though her primary role was as a devoted stay-at-home mom, Brittney enriched her life with a multitude of passions. She loved to paint, finding tranquility and joy in creating colorful expressions of art. Photography allowed her to capture the beauty she saw around her, preserving cherished memories through her lens. Her love for music, especially Bob Marley, provided a rhythm to her life that celebrated freedom and spirit.

Brittney’s world revolved around her beloved son, Jensen Kiser, whom she adored beyond measure. Her nieces, Ariah and Blakeleigh Gaddy, held a special place in her heart, and she loved them as if they were her own. She found immense joy in spending time with her family and friends, sharing stories and laughter over platters of sushi.

Brittney leaves behind her loving family: her father, Tim Gaddy, and his wife Lee; her mother, Judy Whisnant; her cherished son, Jensen Kiser;  her brother, Timothy Gaddy; step-brothers, Hunter Southerland and Will Clay; her adored nieces, Ariah and Blakeleigh Gaddy; and her grandparents, Joel and Doris Whisnant, and Dan and Brenda Gaddy. She is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, who will forever hold her memory close.

The family has chosen to honor Brittney’s life in a private ceremony, cherishing her legacy in their hearts.

Brittney’s bright spirit and unwavering love have left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her. As we remember her, let us celebrate the light she brought into our lives and carry forward the lessons of love and kindness she so freely shared.
