Brenda Putnam

SHELBY- Mrs. Brenda P. Putnam, 61, of 2224 Ellis Rd., died Sat., Oct. 23, 2010 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of Maude Poston of Shelby and the late J.F. Poston. Brenda was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church where she was a member of the Nellie Sue Sunday School Class and enjoyed working in the nursery.


SURVIVED: In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband, Phillip L. Putnam of the home; step son, Robbie Putnam and wife Jennifer; step daughter, Melissa Huffstetler and husband Scott; two brothers, Roger Poston and wife Gail, and Johnny Poston; three grandchildren, Dalton and Colby Putnam, and Ben Huffstetler; brother-in-law, Chris Putnam and wife Terri, all of Shelby; sister-in-law, Jackie Miller and husband Gary of Georgia.

SERVICES: Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, the body will be place in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Monday 6-7:30pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at the home.

BURIAL: Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery
