Brenda Sue Hollifield

SHELBY- Brenda Sue Towery Hollifield, 67, died Friday, June 29, 2018, at Atrium Health in Shelby. Born Sept. 23, 1950, in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Edith Stamey Towery. She was the owner and operator of Cute and Sweet Children’s Consignment.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby and Freddie, and Ronnie Towery; sisters, Murel Towery and Joan Whttman.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Dale Hollifield, of the home; daughters, Tammy Wright and husband Phil, and Heather Hollifield, all of Morganton; sister, Linda Jones and husband Bobby of Boiling Springs; brother, Michael Towery and wife Donna of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Dustin Hollifield and wife Shaunda of Shelby, and Garrett Wright of Morganton; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Kaitlin, Madison, Riley, and Lain.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 12pm, Monday, July 2, 2018, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
