SHELBY- Bonnie Sue Putnam, 78, of 1842 Riverhill Drive, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. A native of Cleveland County, she was born January 2, 1934, daughter of the late Bonnie and Cleo Alexander Dean.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Hal Alexander; one son, Dean Alexander; one brother, Horace Dean; two sisters, Mary Lou Anthony and Elease Goode.
SURVIVED: She is survived by one son, Tracy Putnam and wife Brenda; one daughter, Robin Rogers and husband Tracy all of Shelby; one sister, Margaret Williams of Chesnee, SC; six grandchildren, Michelle and Elizabeth Rogers, Hal Alexander, Mischia Taylor, Jenny Davis, and Kristen Putnam; two great grandchildren, Brycen and Elease Taylor.
SERVICES: A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Shelby.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 2:30 – 4:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral Home.
CLERGY: Rev. Allen Davis
BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Sunset Cemetery.
MEMORIALS: Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr. Shelby, NC 28150
