Billy Ray Sigmon Sr.

CHARLOTTE- Mr. Billy Ray Sigmon Sr., 74, of 10121 Old Dowd Rd., died Mon., Apr. 2, 2012 at home. A native of Gaston Co. he was the son of the late Lester Ray and Violet Smith Sigmon. He served in the Navy and was a member of the American Legion. He retired as an electrician and was of the Baptist faith.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

SURVIVED: He is survived by two sons, Billy Ray Sigmon Jr. and wife Sherrie of Belmont, Danny Shane Sigmon and wife Connie of York; two daughters, Terri Lynn Randle and husband Tony of Kings Mountain, Athena Alice Chappel and husband John of York; special niece and nephew, Jason Sigmon and Charlotte Freeman; four sisters; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren survive.


SERVICES: Thursday, 4pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Grover cemetery
