Bill Cromer

KINGS MOUNTAIN: Bill “Butch” Cromer, 75, died Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Atrium Health Cleveland. Born in York County, SC, he was the son of Louise Cromer. Bill served in the Army during Vietnam, and later worked on small engines for many years. He was known as a man who lived a strong Christian faith. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ida Dickson. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Dottie Sisk Cromer of the home; son, David Cromer of Polkville; daughters, Beth Cromer of Mooresboro and Tracy Costner and husband Jerry of Bessemer City; and grandchildren, Michael Keough and Brittany Keough. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM, Friday, February 11, 2022 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel in Kings Mountain, with the Rev. Eric Griffin officiating. The family will receive friends from 12pm-2pm prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mountain Rest Cemetery.
