Betty Jean Harris

SHELBY- Mrs. Betty Jean Davis Harris, 76, of 207 Textile St., died Wed., Nov. 24, 2010 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Worth and Udell Shaw Davis. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.


PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Harris; two brothers, Jimmy and Roger Davis; and one sister, Kathleen Williams.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Charles Harris; daughter, Barbara Greene and husband Charlie; sister, Doris Lee and husband Buddy, all of Shelby; two sisters-in-law, Sylvia and Gertrude Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.


VISITATION: The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-7:30pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at the home of her daughter, Barbara, 402 Webb St., Shelby.

SERIVCE: The funeral will be 2pm Sunday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel
