SHELBY- Becky Poole, 68, of 1152 Mitchell Street, passed away Wednesday August 5, 2015 at Carolinas Healthcare System-Cleveland. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Maynard and Dolly Blanche Wilson Poole. She was a very giving person and an avid reader. She adored her dog, Meoghy. She loved the beach and all children.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Doris Jeanette Ledbetter.
SURVIVED: She is survived by two sisters, Barbara Greene of Tampa, Florida, and Annie Hojnacki and husband Steve of Murrells Inlet, SC; one brother, Richard Poole and wife Audrey of Shelby; a number of nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews; and last but not least her constant and loving companion, her dog, Meoghy.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends after the service as attendees leave.
