Barbara Parris

KINGS MOUNTAIN- Barbara Elaine Parris, 64, passed away Thursday March 10, 2016 at her residence. A native of Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of Lorena “Sis” Moore and Gettys William Parris and wife Shirley. She attended Grover Church of God and Harvest Time Church.
PRECEDED: She is preceded in death by her brother, Billy Ray Parris.
SURVIVED: In addition to her parents, she is survived by one sister, Brenda Mote and Husband Tony; one brother, Belton “Butch” Parris all of Kings Mountain; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday in the chapel of Clay Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.
VISITATION: The family will receive friend Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
CLERGY: Rev. Ronald Hawkins and Shelia Grigg will officiate.
INTERNMENT: Burial will be at Grover Cemetery
