Barbara Greene

SEFFNER, FL: Barbara Poole Greene, 86, died Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Atrium Heath Cleveland. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Blanche Wilson Poole. Barbara worked 50 years, retiring as an Administrative Manager with the Merchants Association of Florida. She enjoyed socializing with others and she was one to never meet a stranger. She loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert Greene; son, Bobby Greene; sisters, Becky Poole and Net Ledbetter; and brother, Richard Poole. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Greene of Seffner, FL; sister, Ann Hojnacki of Garden City, SC; grandchildren, James Greene, Courtney Greene and Casey Gray and husband Jason; great-grandchildren, Joey Pavey, Jordan Pavey, Captain Morgan, Ace Gray, Maverick Gray and Emma Greene; daughter-in-law, Brenda Greene of Tampa, FL, Sister-in-law, Audrey Poole of Shelby; cousin, Colleen Kimbell of Thonotosassa, FL; and many extended family members. The family will receive friends 1:00-2:30 P.M. Tuesday, January 2, 2023 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home in Shelby.
