SHELBY- Arthur Mullinax, 77, of Dravo Road, passed away Thursday July, 9, 2015 at his home. A native of Cherokee County, SC, he was the son of the late Jesse James and Flossie Jane Humphries Mullinax. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife of soon to be 48 years, Nettie Bolin Mullinax of the home; one son, Danny “Worm” Mullinax and wife Sara of Polkville; three sisters, Betty Peeler of Shelby, Frances Upchurch of Gaffney, and Louise Self of Grover; four grandchildren, Houston, Seth, Thomas, and Hollie Mullinax.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
CLERGY: Dr. J. Barry Goodman, Rev. Billy Boone, and Rev. Alan Lindsay, II will officiate.
BURIAL: Burial will be at the church cemetery on Dravo Road.
