SHELBY- Amy Lynn Hartley, born April 16, 1961, in Cleveland County, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on October 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 65.

Amy was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Shelby, where she grew up and nurtured her faith. She found great joy in gardening and working in her yard, cultivating beauty and life with patience and care. Her love extended beyond plants to her cherished family and her five beloved cats, who were truly her babies and constant companions.

She is preceded in death by her father, Keith M. Hartley. Amy leaves behind her mother, Rebecca Bridges; her significant other of over 15 years, Brian Hollifield; her brother, Terry Hartley and wife Donna Hartley; and her sister, Debbie Vaughan. She was a source of love, encouragement, and inspiration to all who knew her.

Amy Lynn Hartley’s life reminds us that nurturing both the earth and the bonds we share with our loved ones brings profound fulfillment and joy. Her legacy of kindness, faith, and devotion will continue to bloom in the hearts of those she touched.
