SHELBY-Thomas “Allen” Vaughn, 43, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015. A native of Cleveland County, he is the son of Wade and JO Anne Shields Vaughn Jr. of Shelby. Allen was a member of the Episcopal Church of The Redeemer, worked as a computer engineer, and had a love of fishing, reading, traveling, and listening to music.
SURVIVED: In addition to his parents, he is survived by his former wife and love of his life, Karen Philbeck Vaughn; daughter, Virginia “Gracie” Vaughn; and son, Lucas “Luke” Allen Vaughn, all of Shelby.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 3pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
BURIAL: Will follow in Sunset Cemetery
