BOILING SPRINGS- Mrs. Aileen Bridges Crowe, 82, of 522 Clyde Wallace Rd., died Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at home. A native of Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Maurice ”Morris” and Laladge Brooks Bridges. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Nora Greene and Martha Beason; and three brothers, Irvin, Millis and Perry Bridges.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James “Gilbert” Crowe of the home; a son, Ray Crowe and wife, Faye, of Boiling Springs; a sister, Mary Lou Daves and husband, Ray, of Boiling Springs; two brothers, Herman Bridges and wife, Margie, of Boiling Springs and Kenneth Bridges of Mooresboro; three grandchildren, Michael Crowe and wife, Robyn, of Louisville, KY, Jonathan Crowe and Daniel Crowe, both of Boiling Springs; a great grandchild, Adelaide Crowe, of Louisville, KY; and many special nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Boiling Springs Baptist Church and at other times at the home.
FUNERAL: The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2009 at Boiling Springs Baptist Church.
