SHELBY- Aiden "Lilbit", born on June 2, 2007, in Cleveland County, NC, passed away at the age of 19, surrounded by his loving family on July 7, 2026. During his impactful life, Aiden touched the hearts of many with his vibrant personality, passion for life, and unwavering love for those around him.

Aiden was a true character, known for his quick wit and infectious humor. An avid animal lover, he worked at Circle M Safari Park from the age of 16, where they are proudly naming their petting zoo "Aiden's Petting Zoo", in honor of his memory. His deep connection with animals was evident to all who visited. Aiden was a jokester who could light up any room with his laughter and thoughtful nature. His love for fishing, collecting belt buckles, and wearing boots were just a few of the things that made him unique. Aiden cherished his truck and took great pride in being its proud owner. Wherever Aiden was, so was his dog Duces, his shadow and tiny best friend.

Aiden was a proud graduate of Crest High School, Class of June 2026, where he left a lasting impression on everyone around him. A member of The Gathering Place - A House of Prayer, Aiden's faith was an integral part of his life. He loved Jesus and found solace and strength in attending his church.

Preceded in death by his cousin Abby Brown, Aiden leaves behind a devoted family who will continue to honor his memory. He is survived by his mother, Tina Newton; brothers, Ian Monroe and Klayton Sisk; uncles, Donnie Brown and wife Patty and Rusty Brown; his special family friends, Ashley Banks and Mayson Mays; grandparents, Tim and Judy Newton and Katie Kress; cousins, Chris Brown, Kloey Brown, and Skyler Brown; and his special life mentors, Antwan Dawkins and Pastor Ryan McCluney.

The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate the life of Aiden at 4:00PM, Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Patterson Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Ryan McCluney officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the church. Join us in honoring Aiden's remarkable journey and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery following the service.

Though Aiden’s time with us was brief, his impact and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory serves as an inspiration to cherish every moment, love deeply, and live life to the fullest.

The loss of a child is something that no mother should face. In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to the GoFundMe to help lessen the burden on his mother in the coming months.
