William Copeland Erschen June 17, 2002 – April 24, 2022. Born in Rock Hill, SC. William was an adventurer at heart. During his younger years he played soccer from the age of four to thirteen, goalie was his chosen position and was great at it. During his teen years he found a love for the outdoors. Many times, William would take a walk just to be outside and clear his mind. There was something about the fresh air and woods that brought him comfort. Most recently, during his time in Asheville he took up hiking trails. It is here that William found peace with life. Survived by his mother, April and husband Brien Ayers; Father, Les and wife Aubrey Erschen; former stepfather Jeremy Hunter; brothers Timothy Hunter and Jordan Breeden-Wells; and sister Kinsley Wells. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 20th at 2 pm at Mount Holly Church. 1996 Mt. Holly Rd, Rock Hill, S.C. 29730. Aquamation services are provided by Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and Aquamation Center in Shelby, NC
