Randy Atkins

March 23, 1959 - January 15, 2022

SHELBY-Randy "Butch" Atkins, 62, died Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Hospice at Wendover. He was the son of the late Charlie Sims Atkins and Sarah Geneva Atkins. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Jimmy Atkins, Ronnie Atkins, Jerry Atkins, and Larry Atkins; sister, Brenda Hamrick; and his wife Teresa Atkins. He worked for 17 years at Dicey Fabrics, then he moved to Valdese Weaving where He worked for 7 years. he loved his family dearly and his fur baby Fisty. Randy is survived by his son, Brian Oliver; brother, Johnny Atkins and wife Linda of Grover; sisters, Roseann Green and Becky Atkins of Lattimore; and numerous nieces and nephews. According to Randy's wishes there will be no public services. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr, Shelby, NC,28150.
