Fred Loftin

KINGS MOUNTAIN: Fred Eugene Loftin Jr., 69, died Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Atrium Health Cleveland. He was the son of the late Fred Sr. and Emma Loftin. He loved being outside doing yard work and his beloved dog, Kendall aka Pookie. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Adam Lee Loftin; and sister, Teresa Loftin Dixon. He is survived by his loving wife, Kim Loftin; daughters, Mary Beth Lilly and Craig Fowler of Easley, SC and and Kayla Williams and husband Jonathan of Kings Mountain; sister, Denise Cartwright and husband Phil of Sharon, SC; brothers, Charles Loftin and wife Linda of Kings Mountain, Ralph Loftin and wife Marrie of Kings Mountain, and Wilmer Loftin of Clover, SC; grandchildren, Caden Lilly, Olivia Williams, and one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM Friday February 2, 2024 at Westover Baptist Church in Kings Mountain with Rev. Kevin Whittington officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
