GROVER-Euveta Petty, 83, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at White Oak Manor in Shelby. Euveta is preceded in death by her first husband Alfred Cochran Jr of Georgia (died in 1963) and her late husband Dewey J. Petty of Alabama (died in 1999) and a daughter Shena Cochran (died in 2019). Her survivors are three sons, Billy Cochran of Alabama (late Esther), Darrell (Anita) Petty of North Carolina, Jody Petty of Alabama and a daughter Tinna Dobbs of Alabama. There are 12 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. A Graveside Celebration of Life will take place on December 18, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Stoner Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Adairsville, Bartow County, Georgia. Aquamation services are provided by Clay-Barnette Funeral Home in Shelby, NC.
