SHELBY- Mr. Randy Joe Bolin, 53, of 1306 South Morgan Street, died Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of Bertha Reed Bolin of Shelby and the late Robert Lee Bolin. Randy had a special love of family friends. He also loved to fish.
PRECEDED: In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by two brothers Jackie Crotts and Roger Bolin.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife Darlene McAllister Bolin of the home; daughter Ashley Criss and husband Dan of Charlotte; two brothers Dan Bolin and wife Juanita, and Ronnie Bolin and wife Debbie, all of Shelby; and one grandson Tyler Joseph Criss; three nephews Roger Clark, and Brandon Patterson, both of the home, and Ronnie Bolin Jr. of Shelby; and one niece Jessica Green of Banner Elk.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Saturday, 10am, one hour before the service.
SERVICES: Services will be held, Saturday, 11am, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Burial will be held at a later date at Sunset Cemetery.
MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Rd., Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210 or Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
CLERGY: The Rev. Len Byers will be officiating.
FUNERAL HOME: Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.
