SHELBY- Mrs. Hannah Brown, 59, of 2446 Kings Road Extension, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Valley Nursing Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Joe Henry Sr. and Betty Louise Turner Dycus. Mrs. Brown was of the Baptist Faith.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Leo Brown, and a neice Tonya Lynn Dycus.
SURVIVED: She is survived by two sons William Leo Brown and Timothy Turner Brown, both of Shelby; two brothers, Joe Dycus and wife Carolyn of Shelby, and Larry Dycus of Caroleen; three grandchildren, William Leo Brown III, Brandon Michael Brown, and Calen Nichole Brown; and very special friend Bob Bodwell Sr., of Shelby.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Friday, May 14, 2010, from 7-9pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
SERVICES: Services will be held, Saturday, May 15, 2010, 2pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Sunset Cemetery.
MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6000 Fairview Rd., Suite 200, Charlotte, NC 28210
CLERGY: The Rev. Lanny Funchess will be officiating.
