MOORESBORO- Mr. Travis “Waldo” Bryan Kidd, 24, of 3417 Katies Lane, died Monday, February 22, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son Sheila Lail Kidd Gregory of the Home and the late Bryan Kidd. Travis worked for the Cleveland County Landfill.
PRECEDED: In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ben J. Lail and Sam A. Kidd.
SURVIVED: In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister Melissa Godfrey and husband Jimmy of Kings Mountain; brother Kevin Bryan Kidd of the Home; grandmothers Joyce Lail and Faye Kidd both of Shelby; Nephews Luke and Ryan Godfrey of Kings Mountain; and many friends and extended family.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 6-8pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and other times at the home.
SERVICES: Services will be held, Friday, February 26, 2010, 1pm in the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
CLERGY: Crystal Childers will be officiating
