SHELBY- Mr. Ira Eugene Gibson, 70, of Patterson St., died Thursday, Jan. 7th, 2010 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Union County, GA., he was the son of the late Robert and Frankie Mae Summerour Gibson. He retired from Shelby Dye and Finishing.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Mary Ixchop, and his daughter, Stacy Gibson.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his son, Waylon Gibson of Cherryville; and daughter Holly Clark of the home; one brother; one sister; and 10 grandchildren,
GRAVESIDE: A graveside service will be held 3 pm Sunday, Jan.. 10th at House of Prayer Church Cemetery
VISITATION: The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
