SHELBY- Mrs. Peggy Ann Mabry Bowman, 77, of 1597 Maysville Road, died Monday, November 09, 2009 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Hillsville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James Cooley and Lucy V. Wright Mabry. Mrs. Bowman retired from Walmart and was a member of Eastern Star. PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bowman is preceded in death by a brother Connie Mabry, and a nephew Randy Mabry. SURVIVORS: She is survived by her husband Richard Bowman, of the Home; her son “Dicky” Bowman and wife Holly of Shelby; daughter Amy Lou Randall and husband Steve of the Home; a brother Herbert G. Mabry of Hillsville, VA; three grandchildren, Austin Edwards of the Home, and Colton and Kale Bowman of Shelby; and a special friend Elaine Curtis of Mooresboro. VISITATION: The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home from 5-6:30. FUNERAL: A memorial service will follow at a later date at Bethel Brethrens in Christ Church, Hillsville, Virginia
