GROVER- Mrs. Bette Leona Barnhart Cantrell, 89, died March 25, 2009 at Hospice of Wendover. A native of Cook County, Illinois she was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen Dyer Barnhart. Mrs. Cantrell retired as a LPN and was a member of Zoar Baptist Church PRECEDED IN DEATH:. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Frank “Jack” Cantrell Jr. SURVIVORS: She is survived by her two sons Frank “Jack” III Cantrell and wife Sharon, and Harry Cantrell and wife Anita; two daughters Kim Tesseneer and husband John and Diana Parker and husband Dennis, all of Shelby; a sister June Pretzl of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren Sean Cantrell and wife Jill of Shelby; Jennifer Ashworth of Lattimore; Erin Tesseneer of Cullowhee, NC; two great grandchildren, Christopher Ashworth and Kyleigh Ashworth both of Lattimore; three step grandchildren Julie McMurry, Mike Tesseneer, and Cindy Stroupe; step great-granddaughters and their husbands, Nicole Turner and Brad and Christy Davis and David, all of Shelby; step great-great grandchildren, Amy and Michael Easler and David Davis, all of Shelby; nine nieces and nephews; and special friends Lynn Rowland of Grover, Betty Howell of Kings Mountain, Bob and Sandy Melton , Cindy Sain, and David Cline, all of Shelby. VISITAION: The family will receive friends Friday from 1-2pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and other times on Friday at the home of Jack and Sharon Cantrell, 1225 Donna Drive, Shelby. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: A graveside service will be held 3p.m. Friday, at Cleveland Memorial Park. CLERGY: Rev. Robert Rose will be officiating MEMORIALS: Cleveland County Humane Society, P.O.
